Bit Link Solutions (BLS) is proud to formally announce that it has received another small business certification – this time through the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The NMSDC network includes over 12,000 certified minority businesses, 24 affiliate regional councils nationwide and over 1700 large corporate members ranging from Apple and AT&T to Xerox and WalMart.
BLS is also certified as a woman-owned and minority owned small business with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and is listed in the federal SBA business directory. By law, federal agencies are required to establish contracting and subcontracting goals, such that 23% of all government buys are intended to go to small businesses. In addition, contract goals are established specifically for just women-owned and minority businesses. Many state agencies and commercial companies have similar goals and BLS being certified with the SBA as well as certified with commercial organizations, such as the NMSDC, is helpful to both BLS as well as our partners. We can assist you in fulfilling any RFP requirements for MBE/WBE subcontracting and federal set aside contracts.
